Gift List System
There are no limits to what you can add to your wedding list with an independent gift list management service allowing you to create a gift list as unique as you are. Choose wedding gifts from
anywhere on the web, eco or ethical ideas, request homemade gifts, honeymoon vouchers, or charity donations. There are no restrictions. You have the freedom to choose any gifts, from anywhere,
and have control of your own gift list.
This online wedding gift list basically cuts out the middleman. We feel there are too many middlemen taking a cut so that the designer or manufacturer sees less and less of the final price,
devaluing the work they do. By directing your guests straight to the original website to buy the gift, the full price goes to that site, promoting the value of the designer or maker.
To ensure surprise upon receipt
How does it work?
Setting up the list:
- Simply browse the internet to choose the gifts you want to add to your list, or let your imagination run wild with ideas for gifts. View an example list.
- Add, sort and edit your list. Log-on to your private area to edit and adapt your list
- Send the gift list link to your guests
- After the event, log on to view your thank you list and get scribbling to your guests.
- How it works in more detail (link to a page with step by step instructions with thumbnail pictures to guide...)
Promising a gift:
- Guests receive the link in their invite, log on and browse your list.
- To promise a gift, they click on it and enter their email address and message for you. This eliminates this gift from the list so no other guest selects it, and is added to your thank you list
behind the scenes.
- The guest then gets directed to the website where they can buy the gift, and either have it delivered to themselves to bring to the wedding, or to an address that you have allocated in your guests
instructions.
Thank – you list
Once a gift has been bought it is taken from the list and added to your thank-you list in the personal area of your site. You can choose to hide this until after your wedding to ensure surprise
upon receipt of your wedding gifts. You will still be able to see what has been bought, just not who has bought it, so you know if you need to top the list up with more gifts.
