A wedding created in soft colours with lots of texture.
Sharon & Orion had a load of fun at their Nottingham wedding, getting around in a pedi-cab, and the ushers and bridesmaids following behind on tamdens… The subtle tones they chose for flowers and bridesmaid dresses combine perfectly with the texture of Sharon’s dress.

“Flowers came from a local wholesaler and were agapanthus, lavender, freesia, astrantia, blue scabious and gypsophila (for the country look) shamrock crysanths, pale pink large roses, white akito roses. Agapanthus were amazing. They are also called African Lily and matched the bridesmaids perfectly.”

Vintage wedding ideas are becoming more popular. Why not have a wedding with a tea party theme…
Personally Tea has been part of my heritage as my Dad is a tea taster for a major brand, and my parents are from Yorkshire and drink gallons of the stuff. Between our wedding and reception we held a tea party in the church hall so we could invite a larger number of people. Friends and family brought a plethora of cakes and we were served tea by the Mothers Union.

You should have final numbers shortly so you can clarify details with the venue and caterer. Start communicating your plans to the wedding party so they know what you would like them to look after on the day – remember you will not be running round with a clip-board on the day so your wedding party take that from you...

Remember to say thank you to the people who made you day and who gave you gifts.
o Don’t look at any photos of the day for a couple of weeks to cement the memories
o Send out your thank-you notes.
o Arrange for cleaning and preservation of your gown.
o Ask guests to upload their wedding photographs to your wedding website
